Misty Schuttloffel

A native of Corinth, Texas, Mrs. Misty Schuttloffel graduated summa cum laude from Midwestern State University with a bachelor’s in political science in 2004. In 2003, she was awarded the university’s top academic honor for juniors. Before switching to political science, she studied under Dr. Don Maxwell in the university music program. A mezzo-soprano, she has performed in numerous operas and musical theater productions with the Texas State Children’s Choir, Texas All State Choir, and the Midwestern State University Singers, including in her favorite role as Gretel in Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel. Mrs. Schuttloffel currently lives in the Front Royal area with her husband Michael and six children. She looks forward to sharing her passion for music with Chelsea Academy students.
