Mr. James Senson graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelors Degree in Piano Performance and Old Dominion University with a Masters Degree in Secondary Education (Mathematics concentration). In over 17 years serving in public, private and homeschooling education, he has experience as both a teacher and administrator with a passion in the art of pedagogy. As an active professional musician, he serves as Director of Music at Saint Veronica Catholic Church in Chantilly where the sacred music program is centered on liturgical catechesis and youth apprenticeship. His previous experience includes Saint John the Beloved Catholic Church (Director of Music), Paul VI High School and Fairfax County Public Schools (Math teacher), Governor’s School for the Arts (Music teacher), Virginia Opera and Virginia Symphony Chorus (Accompanist). His interests include Gregorian Chant, Euclid’s Elements, the piano works of Debussy and Ravel, cycling, outdoor grilling, conversational French, and supporting Arsenal Football Club. He lives in Front Royal with his wife and four children.
