Annie DeJak holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Magdalen College as well as a Catechetical Certification from the Pontifical Congregation for the Clergy to teach the Catechism of the Catholic Church.  A lover and practitioner of chant and polyphony, Mrs. DeJak has sung in choirs across the country--most notably the Chamber Choir of Saint Agnes Church in St. Paul, Minnesota and the Resurrection Choir of St. John Cantius Church in Chicago, among others.  She was instrumental in establishing Scholae Cantorum at Chesterton Academy and Holy Spirit Academy in the Twin Cities and Father Gabriel Richard High School and Spiritus Sanctus Academy in Ann Arbor.  She has brought that same love of sacred music to Chelsea Academy where she established the school's first Schola Cantorum this past year.  She is the proud mother of eight and also sings in the parish choir of St. John the Baptist in Front Royal.
