Fr. John Killackey, FSSP

Fr. Killackey graduated from Christendom College in 2011 and taught Latin, history, and religion at Chelsea Academy over the subsequent academic year.  He then entered seminary for the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter near Lincoln, Nebraska in 2012; and after seven years of priestly formation was ordained in May 2019 by God’s grace.  He spent the first three years of his priesthood serving the people of the St. Lawrence Church, the FSSP’s apostolate in Harrisburg, PA.  He currently resides at St. Alphonsus National Shrine in Baltimore where he is working toward a philosophy licentiate at the Catholic University of America.  He comes to Front Royal twice a month to help at St. John the Baptist Parish as well as to minister to Chelsea Academy as a part-time chaplain.  He is grateful for the opportunity to return to Chelsea and help provide for the spiritual needs of the school.
