The Maria Regina Scholarship

Thanks to a generous commitment from Tom & Gail Bundrick, Chelsea Academy is pleased to institute a new scholarship, starting with the 2026-27 school year: The Maria Regina Scholarship.

"My parents sacrificed to provide my brothers and me with a solid, Catholic, academic
education," Tom says, “That school was named Maria Regina.”

The Bundricks have a deep appreciation for the role Catholic education plays in forming the next generation in the faith—and a deep understanding of the challenges many families face today.

“Unfortunately, the system that allowed my parents to afford to send us to Catholic school no longer exists,” Tom says, "This is why Gail and I are providing the Maria Regina scholarships. Hopefully the Maria Regina Scholarship can make a difference to a few families that might not otherwise have been able to share the Chelsea Academy school community. A Catholic community can be a
powerful and life-changing experience in our secular world."

Maria Regina Scholarship awards are need and merit-based, and will be awarded to applicants who demonstrate academic promise, moral character, and the spirit of adventure that epitomizes a future Chelsea leader. Families will apply through the normal financial aid process, and every qualified applicant for financial aid will be automatically considered for this scholarship. Thank you, Tom & Gail, for your commitment to Chelsea Academy and Catholic education!
