Anthony McDonald

Mr. Anthony McDonald holds an M.A. in Classical Studies from the University of Notre Dame and brings fifteen years of experience in both teaching and educational leadership. His passion lies in the languages, literature, and cultures of ancient Greece and Rome. Since 2018, he has also served as an adjunct professor in the Department of Classical and Early Christian Studies at Christendom College. Since joining Chelsea Academy in 2022, Mr. McDonald has inspired students with his love of Latin and the classical world. We are delighted that he will once again be leading our students deeper into the richness and beauty of the Latin language this year. As he would say: Ducamus in altum! (“Let us put out into the deep!”) Mr. McDonald and his wife are blessed with six children and live here in Front Royal.
