We are in need of more players for the faculty/parent team for our annual Students vs Faculty/Parents basketball game. If you are interested, please let Brigid McCarthy know.
The rally begins at 11:00 a.m. on the National Mall, featuring a variety of inspiring speakers and performers and we would love for Chelsea to have a strong presence. We are planning two Chelsea vans for this march and we invite our seniors to participate, they will be fully accompanied by faculty volunteers, including myself, ensuring safety and guidance throughout (seniors’ parents, please click here for the permission form for student participation in the National March). We hope to see as many of our community there as possible.
- 3:00 - 3:30 p.m. – Students set up their boards, etc. Once done, they are free to leave.
- 5:30 p.m. -– Science fair opens for parents to view projects. Students are not required to be there at 5:30 p.m.
- 6:15 p.m. – Students must be at their tables and ready for judges.
- 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. – Judges visit each student. Parents are welcome to walk around during judging but we ask that they step aside when judges need to speak with students.
- 8:00 p.m. – Judging ends.
- 8:00-8:45 PM – Judges tally scores and decide winners. Judges do a second round for top ten projects.
- 9:15 p.m. – Science Fair concludes. Students will leave projects up so the entire school can visit the fair the next morning.
The students and faculty of Chelsea will enjoy a Candlemas mass together during the school day.
Chelsea students and faculty will celebrate St. Thomas More's birthday during the school day with a cake!
The Chelsea Lecture is an annual presentation dedicated to the life, faith, and thought of St. Thomas More and the spirit and culture that he nurtured in his home and among his friends.
E3 stands for "Engage, Experience, and Educate," the students get out of the traditional classroom for hands-on, educational activities. The program aims to foster personal growth, leadership, and a deeper connection to the community and environment, all within a faith-based framework. This includes outdoor adventures like hiking, backpacking, camping, and rock climbing to build teamwork and leadership skills, as well as service and community projects such as volunteering at local charities.
