Doug McCarthy

Mr. Doug McCarthy will join Chelsea Academy as Director of Finance for the 2026–2027 academic year. In this role, he will oversee the school’s budgeting, accounting, payroll, financial planning, reporting, and long-term financial strategy. He will work closely with me and the Board of Directors to strengthen Chelsea’s financial operations and ensure that the school continues to grow responsibly while remaining faithful to its mission. Many members of the Chelsea community already know Doug through his years of dedicated service to the school, including his former role as Chairman of Chelsea Academy’s Board of Directors. He is also the founder and CEO of Hedgehog Solutions, whose partnership with Chelsea over the past year has strengthened the school’s financial operations, onboarding procedures, and administrative systems.
