Mrs. Suzanne Temple is delighted to be entering her second year at Chelsea Academy. A graduate of Thomas Aquinas College, she brings to the classroom a strong foundation in classical education and a deep love for the Catholic intellectual tradition. She teaches literature to grades 8, 11, and 12 and is excited to offer an optional joint junior-senior honors seminar this year for students wishing to study Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment. She will also direct the Senior Thesis Program and looks forward to guiding our seniors through this important capstone project. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, I am pleased to announce that Mrs. Temple will serve as Chelsea Academy’s English Department Specialist, providing academic leadership for our English curriculum. In this role, she will oversee the department’s scope and sequence, ensure consistency in writing instruction and expectations across all grade levels, foster collaboration among our English faculty, and continue strengthening the thoughtful integration of our curriculum in keeping with Chelsea Academy’s Catholic liberal arts mission. Mrs. Temple is passionate about forming both the minds and hearts of young people and is deeply committed to cultivating academic excellence, intellectual curiosity, and personal virtue in her students. In her free time, she enjoys reading, creative writing, and sharing her love of the Faith with others.
