Scott Russi

Mr. Scott Russi returns as Chelsea Academy’s Athletic Director and Physical Education teacher, overseeing an athletics program that has become an increasingly important expression of our commitment to formation, teamwork, discipline, and school spirit. A native of Rochester, New York, athletics have been a lifelong passion for Mr. Russi. He attended Georgetown University on a Division I lacrosse scholarship and was later inducted into the Penfield High School Athletic Hall of Fame. He holds a B.A. in Government from Georgetown University and a Master of Science in Management from The Catholic University of America. Before coming to Chelsea, Mr. Russi spent 25 years in the commercial real estate industry before opening a small, family-owned and operated business in Alexandria. That combination of competitive athletics, professional leadership, and a genuine love for working with our students serves Chelsea extraordinarily well as we continue to strengthen both our athletic and physical education programs. Scott and his wife live in Star Tannery with their three children, all of whom attend Chelsea Academy. We are tremendously grateful not only for his leadership of Chelsea Athletics, but also for the tremendous investment he and his family continue to make in our school community.
