We are excited for our annual Chelsea Academy Fall Campout on Thursday, October 8th, and Friday, October 9th! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to enjoy the outdoors and spend time together as a school community. You will find the RSVP due on September 30th here:
Our middle school and high school students will be camping in different locations throughout the George Washington National Forest:
High School Boys: Strasburg Reservoir — backpacking/primitive camping with approximately a 1-mile hike to the campsite.
High School Girls: Veach Gap — backpacking/primitive camping with approximately a 1-mile hike to the campsite.
Middle School Boys: Bear Wallow — camping with a short walk to the campsite.
Middle School Girls: Elizabeth Furnace Campground.
We are very grateful for all of your help in preparing our students for this adventure. Thank you for sending the necessary equipment, completing the permission form, and volunteering your time. These experiences would not be possible without the wonderful support of our Chelsea Academy families!
