Upper School Theology

Mr. Foeckler graduated summa cum laude from Christendom College, majoring in Theology with a minor in Math and Science. Since joining Chelsea in 2013, he has taught a wide range of classes and has been involved in a wide range of extracurriculars. He helped design and implement the current theology curriculum in the Upper School. As the Director of the Chelsea Players, he produces and directs the annual upper school plays. Notable past productions have included A Man For All Seasons, a film of Twelfth Night, and two original adaptations: Right Ho, Jeeves and The Man Who Was Thursday: A Nightmare. A DAC DII championship winning soccer coach and Coach of the Season, as well as a two-time VMSC championship-winning coach, Mr. Foeckler has many years of soccer coaching experience, including at the collegiate level. His presentation, Practical Tips for Doing Theater, at the 2019 ICLE summer conference has been included in professional development materials offered to ICLE member schools. He and his wife live in Front Royal with their four sons.
